In June 2027, Sue Knight will take on the incredible challenge of swimming 2 miles across Lake Windermere at the Great North Swim to raise funds for Felix Fund. Sue's inspiration comes from her father, who served with 321 EOD in Northern Ireland. Through learning more about his service and connecting with members of the EOD community, she has gained a deeper understanding of the sacrifices made by those who protect others from explosive threats. Now, she's stepping out of her comfort zone and into open water. While Sue loves swimming, 2 miles in Windermere is far beyond anything she currently swims, making this a challenge that will take months of dedication, training and determination.
