Royal Armouries Storytelling Workshops for Veterans

Felix Fund is delighted to share an exciting opportunity on behalf of the Royal Armouries Museum for veterans living with disabilities to take part in a unique storytelling workshop exploring how objects can tell powerful personal stories.

Through a guided museum tour, hands-on sessions with historic artefacts, and a live costumed performance, participants will discover how the Royal Armouries brings the history of arms, armour and conflict to life through its remarkable collections.

Veterans will also be invited to bring along a personal item that holds special meaning and explore the story it carries—whether connected to service, identity, memory, resilience or lived experience.

As part of a wider project, there will be opportunities for participants to contribute to future work helping the museum share and preserve the lived experiences of those affected by conflict.

Workshop Dates

Participants are invited to attend one of the following sessions:

🗓️ Tuesday 11th August, 10:00am – 4:00pm

🗓️ Sunday 16th August, 10:00am – 4:00pm

Lunch and reasonable travel expenses will be provided.
